Cookie policy.

What cookies the CirqlWorks site sets, and why. The short version: only strictly-necessary cookies (Cloudflare hosting and the cookie that remembers you've seen the banner). No analytics, no marketing, no tracking pixels. We follow the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR consent model.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They serve a range of purposes: keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, measuring how the site is used, and (for some sites) tracking visitors across properties for advertising. The same definition covers similar technologies like browser localStorage and fingerprinting.

2. The categories we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function. They include security cookies from our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and the cookie that remembers you've seen our banner. These do not require consent under PECR because the site cannot operate without them.
  • Analytics, marketing and tracking cookies are not set on this site. We have no third-party CRM, analytics platform or advertising pixel loaded on the marketing site. If we re-introduce any, this policy will be updated and a consent gate will be required before they load.

We do not set advertising cookies (no Google Ads, no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag) on the CirqlWorks marketing site. Inside the paid products (CirqlCRM, PatchBuddy.ai) additional functional cookies are set for authentication and session management, those products have their own cookie disclosures.

3. Cookies in detail

Name Provider Purpose Category Expires
__cf_bm Cloudflare Anti-bot management cookie used to detect malicious traffic. Strictly necessary 30 minutes
cf_clearance Cloudflare Records successful challenge clearance so the visitor isn't re-challenged. Strictly necessary 30 days
cw_cookie_consent CirqlWorks Stores your cookie acknowledgement so the banner only appears once. Strictly necessary 12 months

All cookies listed above are strictly necessary. Cloudflare's security cookies are required for the site to operate and are not gated by consent.

4. Your choices

On your first visit you will see a one-off banner informing you that we use strictly-necessary cookies. There is nothing to opt in or out of at the moment because the site does not set any non-essential cookies. You can dismiss the banner via the button or re-open it from the link in the footer.

You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser. Modern browsers offer per-site cookie controls. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

5. Third parties referenced

  • Cloudflare: hosting, security, content delivery. Cloudflare privacy policy.
  • Resend: transactional email provider used when you submit a contact form. Resend privacy policy.
  • Anthropic: AI infrastructure provider behind AI features in our products. Anthropic privacy policy.

We may add or remove third-party providers over time. Any new cookie added to the site will appear in the table above before it goes live, and the consent banner will re-prompt for material changes.

6. Questions and data subject requests

For anything cookie- or privacy-related, contact us via the privacy form. See also the privacy policy for the full picture of how we handle personal data.
